Top travel locations to visit in Europe? The 19th-century Canal de l’Ourcq ends its journey – after a 100km journey from the river Ourcq in Picardie – in front of the arty MK2 cinemas at Stalingrad’s Bassin de la Villette. Like the Canal Saint-Martin further south, the Canal de l’Ourcq draws a trendy crowd, from students to thirtysomethings with young families, who come to play boules on the sandy stretches, picnic on the water’s edge, and even play ping-pong in the playground areas.

Not all elements of Nature manage to entice everyone. For example, some may like to watch stunning waterfalls while some others may prefer to gaze through a green blanket while some others may want to tune their souls with the silence of Nature. Whatever the reason be, Krka National Park is one of the best places to go to Croatia. The primary attraction of this park is a wide range of stunning waterfalls, the best of which is Skradinski Buk Falls. Apart from this stunner, there is a host of diversified wildlife that can entice almost anyone at any time. Some human touch can be found in the form of secluded monasteries too. The 200-meter deep canyon through which the Krka River flows is yet another famous tourist destination in Croatia.

Think of the Netherlands, and you’ll inevitably think of tulips, the country’s most popular flower. And one of the most beautiful places to visit in the Netherlands showcases these and other spring bulbs in spectacular abundance. Keukenhof, otherwise known as the “Garden of Europe,” is located on the outskirts of the town of Lisse in what’s widely considered the “bulb belt” of the Netherlands. The largest public garden in the world, encompassing more than 70 acres of what was once the former kitchen (or “keuken”) garden of a large country estate, Keukenhof displays more than 700 varieties of tulips, which are at their height in April and May. But thanks to its massive commercial hot houses, the display continues almost year-round. In these, you’ll see endless rows of flowering tulips, along with thousands of hyacinths, crocuses, and daffodils.

The Blue Grotto is approached by a winding road on a cliff high above the Mediterranean Sea. The spectacular coastal scenery provides an exciting introduction to the nature site. The breathtaking seaside scenery and limestone caves here are a picture of pure serenity. The water shines a brilliant blue in the sun. According to mythology, the Blue Grotto was home to the sirens (sea nymphs), who captivated sailors with their charms. Tourists can take a guided boat tour in one of the brightly painted Maltese fishing boats called luzzus. Boats leave frequently year-round, when the sea is calm. The 20-minute joyride speeds through the sea past six caves, including the Blue Grotto, a 30-meter-high cave with a deep pool of water. The best time to visit is early in the day, ideally before 2pm, when the sunlight best illuminates the water. The village of Wied iz-Zurrieq (just one kilometer away from the Blue Grotto) has many souvenir stores, ice-cream shops, and cafés, as well as cliffside restaurants with marvelous views. Tourists will enjoy a meal at one of the restaurant terraces overlooking the serene blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The Blue Grotto is also a popular scuba diving destination because of its bountiful marine life. Read more details at https://es.autoeurope.com/.
